If you want to be able to sit in your garden and admire all your hard work then you need to get some garden furniture. However this can be expensive – you probably don’t need me to tell you that a high quality furniture set for you garden can cost upwards £1000. For that reason many people buy plastic garden furniture but this can be of a low quality and doesn’t look great.
The problem with plastic furniture is that it is of a low quality and hence will not look its best for long. We’ve all seen white plastic after a few months in the rain and cold – it doesn’t look very white anymore!
However the major bonus is of course that you can get very cheap plastic garden furniture. If you don’t spend much time in the garden or you have a young family who you think will be quick to destroy any nice furniture then plastic is probably a good choice.
The two most common colours are green plastic garden furniture and white. If it were down to me then I would choose green because I think that it looks better and is less likely to show up marks but that is of course a personal opinion.
Even though plastic furniture might look a bit tacky it is quite durable and hence will last a long time, even if it will look a bit worse for wear after a short time.
There isn’t just one style of plastic furniture though and you shouldn’t think that just because you are buying plastic it can’t look goof at the same time. You should spend some time looking around on the internet for the various options that you have available to you as there are plenty. For example while white plastic furniture is the most common along with green there are lots of other options for you so that you can liven up your garden or patio. Getting a brighter colour can be a great way of increasing the appeal of the plastic chairs or tables. You can also get styles like plastic rattan garden furniture which can add a different dimension to your garden.
Overall, plastic furniture for your garden can do a good job and will last a long time as long as you know what to expect from it. If you are creating your dream garden then you might want to buy a higher quality material for you furniture but if yiu are just buying chairs for someone to sit and relax then plastic furniture will definitely be the most cost effective.
