Hi folks,

I'm oldish, fat bellied, quite smelly and very, very ugly. Icon_cry Well, that's the introduction out the way. Icon_lol

I've loved being out in the countryside of our beautiful wee country since I was six years old and I was always being constantly surprised and gobsmacked by the sights I saw, but unfortunately, I never had a camera with me to take some photos. Now, at last, I can record all the wonderful things that I see and my wife and I can watch them over and over again on the big telly.

To explain briefly, due to my wife's ill health we are both now mostly housebound, so I decided to buy some cheap remote operated cctv cameras for around the exterior of our house - partly for security but also (hopefully) to observe the wildlife around our cottage, well to be honest, it's been a resounding success, the things we've seen have been truly astonishing, but almost all by accident!

If possible I'd like to share some of those moments with folks that also appreciate our native wildlife behaving naturally. Please remember though, it's not exactly David Attenborough quality! Icon_biggrin

I don't know if the site supports video, but if not then I'll try and capture some stills - if I can figure out how to!

Sorry for the long-winded post, but as I mentioned earlier, I don't get out much these days. Icon_lol
